FaciliWorks PDA Software is a special utility for transferring data back and forth between your FaciliWorks program and a handheld Pocket PC device such as an iPAQ (for example an HX2410 or HX2495) or Symbol (for example a PPT 8800).
Maintenance records are first transferred into the Pocket PC. Your maintenance technicians then take the compact, lightweight unit along with them into the field?the unit fits into a shirt pocket or can be belt-holstered. Your technicians can use the FaciliWorks PDA software to document maintenance results, hours, costs, completion status, comments and other important information.
For easy reference, the software tracks and displays lists of all required parts, tools and even detailed maintenance procedures.
The FaciliWorks PDA software can also help you keep inventory records and equipment meter readings up to date. Just transfer all your part information or metered equipment to the Pocket PC device, record your current inventory or meter readings, and transfer the updated information back to your desktop computer.
At the end of the day, the handheld computer is placed in its cradle and the completed maintenance records are electronically transferred back into FaciliWorks. This system saves time, ensures accuracy and is easy to operate.
