Under Windows Vista, I am having trouble opening my GAGEtrak database because I can’t find it after using the Open Database window [Browse] button. I know that my file is there. Why can’t I see the file or browse to it when I am using GAGEtrak?

There is a setting for Windows Vista that is hiding your files and folders. Change this setting by following these instructions:

Click on the Windows [Start] button on the Windows Taskbar.

Click on the Control Panel menu option.

When the control panel opens, you can either be in Classic View or Control Panel Home view.

If you are in the Classic View, do the following:

• Double-click on the Folder Options icon.
• Click on the View tab.
• Under the Hidden files and folders section select the option labeled Show hidden files and folders.

If you are in the Control Panel Home view, do the following:

• Click on the Appearance and Personalization link.
• Click on Show Hidden Files or Folders.
