GAGEtrak FAQ

GAGEtrak - The World's leading calibration management software

When my gage block set, Gage ID MB-81PC-US-CB, comes back from calibration, I get a calibration certificate in .pdf format. How can I put this certificate into Gagetrak for future use?

You would save the .pdf file for the calibration of your gage blocks to your server. For example, you might save it to a location like this with a name like this:

Q:\Quality\Calibration Certificates\2009\MB-81PC-US-CB_11-24-2009.pdf

If you always save the calibration certificate files with the Gage ID and the Calibration Date as part of the file name, everyone will be able to identify them immediately. All of the users of GAGEtrak will need permission to view these files on the network. To attach the certificate file to the calibration for the gage blocks, please go into Calibration Entry and find the calibration (or enter the calibration for the gage block set if you haven’t entered it yet). Then click the Additionals tab. In the bottom section of this form, between File and File Description, click the [. . .] browse button. This will open the navigation window where you can go to your server and select the .pdf file that applies to this particular calibration. At any time in the future, you can open the certificate by clicking the [View/Print] button.
