What is a Gage Family?

A gage family is defined by two data fields. The first is the “Type” and the second is the “Frequency." For the purpose of the A3 Auto Frequency adjustment method, these fields together define the family. When A3 determines that the family qualifies for a frequency adjustment, the adjustment applies to all gages in the family.
