I just installed GAGEtrak, but I can’t use it because it is asking me for a User ID and Password and I don’t know what this is.

If you have installed GAGEtrak under the 21CFR11 option, it will always require a security log in. After you have installed under 21CFR11, you can log in as the Default user:

User ID: Default

Password: Leave the Password blank and click the [OK] button. GAGEtrak will prompt you to create a Password for the Default user.

After you have opened the GAGEtrak program as the Default user, you will want to create a user account for yourself:

1) On the left side of GAGEtrak’s Main Menu, click Setup, then click Security and choose the Users tab.

2) Next to User ID, enter one for yourself. It can be letters or numbers.

3) Next to Name, enter your name.

4) Click the [Add] button to add yourself as a user of GAGEtrak.

5) In the lower portion of the Users window, highlight the Admin group.

6) Click the [Add>>] button to make yourself a member of the Admin group. The Admin group has permission for everything in GAGEtrak.

7) Click the [Password] button and enter and confirm your password.

Now you can close GAGEtrak, open it again and test your new User ID and Password.
